I’m excited (and nervous) to announce the release of my first ebook, Bold is Beautiful: A Manifesto for the Modern Woman in Progress. This is something I’ve been working on for a while in fits and starts. When the idea first came to me, I thought it would be a blog post. Then it got too long for a blog post and that’s when it made sense to turn it into longer (but still short) ebook.

About the ebook

It’s a short, 14-page pdf about how I gained the strength to live more boldly. If living more boldly is something you’d like to do, I hope my story can help you in some small way. You can get a free copy by signing up for my email list. You’ll automatically be signed up for occasional emails about stuff I’m working on and notes from me. Don’t worry, I promise to never spam you nor share your information.

What Others are Saying

“Janna Marlies Maron articulates in honest, poignant fashion why women struggle to be bold. But she doesn’t stop there. She slices through the myths and lies we’ve been told (and tell ourselves) to invite a beauty and strength that is beyond anything we could possibly imagine. Read this. Straight through. One sitting. Then go buy some red boots. And wear them!”

After Reading

If you’ve already read the ebook, thank you. I would love to hear your thoughts. Please feel free to share them by leaving a comment on this page or by emailing me. If my story resonated with you, please also feel free to share it with your friends (just don’t change it or charge for it). Here are some ways to share:

  • Share by emailing a link to this page
  • Share by printing and leaving a hard copy at your favorite coffee shop
  • Share your own story — on your blog or with someone you know

My hope is that by sharing my story, you’ll be empowered to share yours. If that happens, I would love to hear about it. Maybe Bold is Beautiful inspired a blog post or a video. If that’s the case, please do share! We can all benefit from hearing each others’ stories.

  1. My favorite line (besides the “short skirt, long jacket” reference): “Bold is beautiful because it usually comes from a place of passion and fervor.” Love that you put your story out to share with all us WIPs. I can just imagine the power generated by us all getting comfortable with who we are and doing the things we were put on this earth to do!
