Publishing is my way of providing an outlet that showcases creativity. It’s part of authentic storytelling — there are so many talented and creative people in the world, yet so few of them really get to showcase their work. And because of that, so many people don’t live their authentic story — because they’ve been convinced by the system that they aren’t in fact creative, or talented, or good enough to be showcased in the first place.

Not only that, but also authentic stories are often hard to tell, and we get conditioned to hide them. But I argue that the only way to get comfortable with who we were created to be is to embrace vulnerability and share the parts of ourselves that we instinctively want to hide.

That’s why I collect stories and publish them. So the storyteller has an outlet, but more so that the reader can be moved, changed and inspired.
